Sound Bio

Nikhil’s journey into music started at the age of 18 in Hyderabad when he was singing and playing the bass guitar in a band he formed with friends. He soon expressed an immense interest in the art and science of sound and diverting from his hotel management career, jumped head first into it - reading, experimenting and teaching himself how to mix.

His love for live concerts inspired him to go on as an FoH engineer and also start his own sound rental company, Orpheus.

More than two decades later, Nikhil has collected extensive knowledge and experience in FoH and monitor engineering, systems design, installation design and the physics of sound.
